After finishing the walls we installed the 18K9 open web joist for the attic and porches

steel columns and C channel in place

Decking attached

second floor nailer in place, just waiting on roof trusses.
Next step will be waterproofing the window/door bucks and installing windows and siding...still a long was to go.

So we finished the first floor slab and started on the first floor walls

Pour complete......learned a whole lot that day.


We chose the Hambro composite steel joist concrete floor system for the house.

Getting started

We started our ICF house a few months ago, I've been pretty busy so I'm finally getting around to put up a blog on it. I'll update from time to time.
